Level Two

Help youth and families navigate the biological currents of behavior with confidence

Level Two

*Level two is invitation only, based on meaningful participation and concept integration in the previous level.

Level two is a series of salon workshops with guest researchers to help participants establish in-depth working knowledge of the biological mechanisms of emotion and behavior. Each session is three days in length and focuses on a select physiological component.

Guest researchers speak about the concept they study and lead a question-and-answer session. Participants apply that science to their population and setting through experientials, practical application role-play, interactive discussion, and group work. Educational goals will vary based on the session and biological mechanism or process featured.

Featured speakers are leading scientists in their field, many are highly-cited, and hold degrees from or professorships with renowned institutions around the world. A guest researcher for the Dopamine session is Wolfram Schultz, Fellow of the Royal Society, and Cambridge University professor of neuroscience. Dr Schultz received the largest prize in neuroscience with fellow researchers for their discovery of the unique features and functions of Dopamine neurons.
